Signing-up your organisation to the Aldermanbury Declaration is straightforward.
Assuming you are in a responsible position that allows you to act on your firm's behalf in this regard, you simply need to:
- Ensure you have read and understood the Declaration standards that would apply to your firm.
- Commit your firm publicly to meeting these standards in full and not later than December 2013.
- Print-off, complete and return the application form by post.
In the near future, we plan to publish a list of the organisations that have signed-up to the Declaration. Company names and web address are likely to be posted at www.cii.co.uk/aldermanburydeclaration and details may be included in our ongoing communications regarding this initiative.
Notes
- By signing-up to the Declaration, organisations assume responsibility for fully meeting all the specified standards appropriate to their organisation (whether broker or insurer) on or before 31.12.2013. The CII will not monitor adherence/compliance.
