- The Code of Ethics establishes and articulates the values, responsibilities, obligations, and ethical considerations of members working in a professional capacity.

- The role of the Professional Standards Board is to advise the Council on setting of standards for achievement of excellence and to offer guidance on CII Member and CII Internal governance standards.
